ASONAM 2014 Call for Panel *** Beijing China August 17-20, 2014 *** *** Home Page: www.asonam2014.org *** The IEEE/ACM International Conference on Advances in Social Network Analysis and Mining (ASONAM) (http://datamining.it.uts.edu.au/conferences/asonam/home.html) provides a premier interdisciplinary forum to bring together researchers and practitioners from all social networking analysis and mining related fields for presentation of original research results, as well as exchange and dissemination of innovative, practical development experiences. ASONAM 2014 solicits panel proposals. A panel proposal should be submitted by the panel organizer. The proposal should tackle a state of the art evolving and of increasing interest problem in the area of social network analysis and mining. Panelists are expected to be researchers who have done well-known or controversial work related to the topics of the panel. Researchers interested in organizing a panel are invited to submit a proposal to Panel Co-Chair, Alvin Chin (alvin.chin@nokia.com). The proposal should include the name and affiliation of the organizer, the contact information, a panel title, a brief up to two pages description of the topics to be covered, and a list of the panelists who are experts in the field and will attend ASONAM 2014. Before submitting a panel proposal, the organizer is expected to contact all the proposed panelists and get their agreement to serve as a panelist.
